Zhimin Zhou, the accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Service (China) Co., Ltd., has been a driving force behind the remarkable growth and transformation of the Chinese and Asian cruise markets. Since 2009, Zhou's visionary leadership has propelled China's cruise market to achieve an outstanding average annual growth rate of 55%, with Shanghai emerging as Asia's premier cruise home port. His unwavering commitment to deploying cutting-edge, high-tech cruise ships, such as the Voyager, Quantum, and Spectrum, has ushered in a new era of intelligence and continuously upgraded China's cruise industry. Zhou's contributions extend beyond domestic success, as he has successfully exported China's technology, standards, and culture to European and American markets. Notably, his publication "How to Promote the Eastward Shift of the Focus of the Global Cruise Industry" has garnered acclaim in renowned publications. Zhou's exceptional leadership and strategic acumen were honored with the Excellent Proposal Award of the 13th Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference for his proposal on piloting the Shanghai Model and promoting the recovery of the cruise industry.
