Binghua Zhang, the founder and chairman of Marautec, is a highly experienced individual in the shipping industry with a deep understanding of the application of artificial intelligence visual technology. He has been actively involved in the field of shipping for several decades. In recognition of his contributions, Zhang has received numerous prestigious titles. In 2017, he was honored with the title of "Excellent Talent Demeanor" in Shanghai Construction. Additionally, he was recognized as one of the "Top Ten People in China's Shipping Science and Technology" in both 2019 and 2022. Furthermore, he was selected to be part of the esteemed "China Shipping 100 List" in 2022.

Binghua Zhang holds a bachelor's degree in marine engineering and automatic control from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He also completed a master's degree in marine engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, along with an MBA from Manchester Business School. Throughout his career, Zhang has held several significant positions, including serving as a senior strategic expert in global maritime business at the London headquarters of Lawn Classification Society. He has also acted as the president of the London Maritime Services Association in China and served as the chairman of the shipping and financial industry base.
