Songbing Ding is a deputy to the Shanghai People's Congress and an outstanding member of the China National Democratic Construction Association. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Economics from Shanghai Maritime University and is qualified as a senior programmer and a senior economist. He participated in the first phase of the overseas terminal management training program jointly organized by SIPG and Maersk and received terminal management training at Port of Aarhus in Denmark and Laem Chabang Port in Thailand. Mr. Ding has been extensively involved in the research and analysis related to port investment, port logistics, and corporate management. Currently, he serves as the General Manager of the Strategic Research Department at SIPG, mainly responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with government authorities, research institutions, and benchmark port and shipping enterprises and conducting research and analysis on policy, economic factors, internal benchmarking, and optimization of management control related to the SIPG's development strategy.
