Jing Lu, Ph.D. in Science, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor, is the Deputy Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Maritime University. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Urban Construction and Environmental Protection Committee of the 16th People's Congress of Shanghai. Before this, he had a distinguished career in various leadership positions, including the Director of the Academic Affairs Office at Fudan University, Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School at East China Normal University, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Institute of Technology, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee of Education and Health, and Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.Xin Shi, born in 1966, professor, vice president of Shanghai Maritime University. Prof. Shi is also council member of Chinese Institute of Navigation, executive deputy director of Shipping Management Committee, director of Port and Shipping Committee of Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Transportation Commission, executive council member and deputy director of Transportation and Logistics Committee of Operations Research Society of Shanghai. Prof. Shi has long engaged in the teaching and research work in the field of transportation planning and management, was funded by NSFC (Natural Science Foundation of China), Shanghai Science and Technology Rising Star (Tracking) Program, Shanghai Dawn Plan, etc. He was in charge of several projects concerning International shipping center construction, transportation industry policy and management, regional ports and shipping development planning, ports and shipping enterprise management consulting, etc. Prof. Shi was awarded the 2nd, 3rd prize for Technological Advancement of Shanghai, the 2nd, 3rd prize of Shanghai Decision-making Consultation Research, 3rd prize for Technological Advancement of Ministry of Transport, and the 1st prize of Shanghai teaching achievements. Prof. Shi was recognized as a national-level candidate for the New Century Talent Project and granted special allowances by the State Council. Furthermore, he received numerous prestigious accolades, such as the National Excellent Teacher in the Transportation System, Advanced Worker in Shanghai, Outstanding Professional and Technical Personnel in Shanghai, Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, Young Science and Technology Talent in Transportation, New Long March Pioneer in Shanghai, and Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Pudong.
