Mr. Song graduated from Dalian Maritime University and Shanghai Maritime University with a bachelor’s degree in international economic law and a master’s degree in maritime law, respectively, having a solid background in international law.

Mr. Song entered the insurance industry in early 2002 and has been deeply involved in the field of shipping insurance for over 20 years. He has worked in multiple positions such as claims settlement, recovery, and insurance underwriting, as well as operations and management. He has handled over a thousand compensation cases and led the development of products involving over a hundred main and additional risks in cargo insurance, vehicle insurance, and shipping liability insurance.

At the same time, Mr. Song has extensive participation in social and industry work, and currently he is:

Arbitrator of the China Maritime Arbitration Commission;

Director of the Inspection Service ("Belt and Road" Initiative) Special Committee of Shanghai Institute of Marine Insurance;

Member of the Insurance Industry Risk Assessment Expert Committee of China Insurance Security Fund Co., Ltd.

Mr. Song also served as a member of the Legal and Liability Professional Committee of the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI).
